The Land Ops off road club is based in California and conducts trips in California, Colorado, Arizona, Utah and Nevada.
All 4x4 makes and models are welcome. The club is filled with members driving Jeeps, Hummers, Land Rovers, Land Cruisers, Tacoma 4x4s, FJ Cruisers and more.
If you're looking for a unique 4x4 club look no further. Land Ops explores the back roads and remote areas with teams that navigate with GPS and maps. The 4 x 4 events include camping out, vehicle recovery, and learning the variety of equipment involved in the ham radio set ups.

This seven minute video is a montage of various 4x4 Land Ops events starting from Nov. 2009 to Oct. 2014.
The off road club itself plays what we call land ops which is simply short for land operations. These 4x4 games include a sophisticated form of geocaching and information sharing between multiple teams. Amateur radio (ham) operators set up radio systems and provide the communications for the 4x4 teams. Jeeps, Land Rovers and all makes and models of offroad trucks make up the Land Ops vehicle list.
